Pajama Party
Pajama Party
It's party time for up to 10 lucky students!  1st grade teachers Christy Babbit and Chris Bishop will host an evening of crafts, games, and a pizza dinner topped off with a short age-appropriate movie, either in the classroom or at the Babbit's home.  The evening will end with teeth brushing and a bedtime story, so all you need to do as pick up the kids and put them in bed (because, of course, they will fall asleep on the ride home!).  This fun-filled evening will occur on a mutually agreed upon Friday evening from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Take Me Out to the Ballpark!
What could be more fun than than watching the Tennessee Smokies knock one out of the park while eating classic ballpark food with up to three of your friends?  Director of Lower School Nancy Laurence and our new Director of Middle School Kevin Foley will pick up 2-4 lucky students from their homes and take them to a Smokies home game.  You can help choose the visiting team and the date.
Movie & Menchie's
Kindergarten teachers Kristie Saliba and Connie Noland will meet two children at the Regal Cinemas in Turkey Creek to watch a movie of your choice.  Afterwards, they will walk to Menchie's for frozen yogurt and more fun!  The movie will be age appropriate and parent-approved.  Take advantage of this opportunity to spend a couple of hours shopping in Turkey Creek - or treat yourself to some spa time! - while your kids are thoroughly entertained.
Smoky Mountain Hike & Country Breakfast
Middle school teacher Tom Jones and his wife, lower school assistant Mary, will take 3 lucky middle schoolers on a Saturday historical hike in the Smoky Mountains.  Students will arrive at the Jones' Maryville home at 8:00 a.m. for a delicious country breakfast with eggs, bacon, biscuits, fresh fruit and juice.  From there they will make their way through Townsend and hike to Little Greenbrier School and the Walker Homestead.  Along the way they will stop for a picnic lunch with sandwiches, chips and cookies on the menu.  Everything you will need will be provided - just bring a backpack to help carry supplies.  Students can be picked up at an agreed-upon location in West Knoxville at 3:00 p.m.  Good hiking shoes a must!
