2013 Gala Catalog
Mrs. Tyler and Mrs. Jones 2nd Grade
Mrs. Tyler and Mrs. Jones' 2nd Grade created a magnet board that will look great in your home. The fleur de lis not only signifies perfection, light, and life but this piece gives you life when you see the faces of the class. The students took the phrase "ESK is.." and each child's word is represented with their photo which also serves as a magnet.
5th Grade Memories
5th grade has had a busy year from a trip to Tremont then a day at Biz Town to everyday classroom excitement. The 2 photo trays are a great way to capture all the memories of 5th grade. They will look great on a coffee table in your playroom!
Mrs. Thurman and Mrs. Wise's Knoxville Art
From the Gay Street Bridge, St. John's Cathedral, Bijou Theater, Ayres Hall, and even the JFG sign; Mrs. Thurman and Mrs. Wise's 2nd grade put their architecture skills to work. Their drawings are a great display of the Knoxville landmarks!
March for Peace
Mrs. Ottaviano and Mrs. Rasnick's 1st grade class had a hand in their artwork. Or should we say, thumb. Each child chose a color and put their thumb to work creating the peace sign.
Stamped at the bottom is each child's name with their color print.
Kindergarden Quilt
The kindergarten drew their self portraits with fabric markers on quilt squares. Narda Hipsher, a friend of ESK quilted the self portraits together with fun, colorful fabric. A wonderful keepsake to use as a throw, on a bed, or hanging on a wall. The quilt has a hanging sleeve on the back and the children have each signed their artwork!
Mrs. Jenkins' 3rd Grade

Mrs. Jenkin's third grade embraced the three R's - Renew, Reuse, Recycle - and created a masterpiece! Following Mr. T's sustainability lead, 3rd graders re-purposed an old shipping palate for their "canvas." Next, 3rd grade dad, artist Michael Conti, used a laser saw and scrap Masonite to create a silhouette of a tree. The children found beautiful items in the woods on campus, and they glued their treasures on to the tree. The result is fabulous! This unique piece of rustic art will look lovely in your lake or mountain home. Can't you picture it above the fireplace?

Mrs. Parham's 3rd Grade
Mrs.Parham's Third Grade Class created four 20x20 canvas collages of the ESK barn. Each one was handmade by the students using their drawings and collage work. Although the canvases are similar and  could easily be hung together, they are each unique. One was collaged with fabric, one with magazine paper, one with paper the students hand painted, and one with scrapbook paper..... All signed on the back by the students. A bright, cheery keepsake of one of ESK's icons... The Barn.

Reason ESK is Special
Friends, Tribes Agreements, Art, Math, Bernie, and PE says it all about ESK. Mrs. Bornemann's 4th Grade art canvas would look good in any classroom or playroom.
