Sometimes the furniture has no wear n' tear but to make it "shabby chic", one much beat it up a little. Two chairs will look great in any entry way or child's desk. 	Cedar Hope Chest This cedar chest was created by an ESK grandparent! The prime wood species is African Sapele, with Aromatic Cedar laminated on the inside and used for the base. The cedar provides protection of the contents and a fresh aroma. The main joinery is blind dovetails, designed to last for generations. A molded foot and base molding add an air of sophistication to the piece. The top has been mounted with the latest technology, "Lid-Stay Torsion hinges", which enables the top to stay open at any angle. It is finished on the outside with clear lacquer, which emphasizes the outstanding grain pattern in the wood. The inside is left natural to capture the fragrance of the wood. This is truly a beautifully hand crafted chest which will be a lasting heirloom for its owner.
