This chest was constructed in the winter of 2017. The walnut was harvested in the spring of 2014 from trees in a residential area off Northshore Road in West Knoxville. The yellow poplar was harvested in East Knox County about ten years ago. The cedar was a gift from a dealer in exotic woods in Alambama. All wood was air dried protected from the weather.
Construction includes all solid wood, hand cut joinery (dove tail and mortise & tenon), trim and molding made by the builder.
